117 Schools
District 117 is
comprised of four schools: Antioch Community High School, Allendale School,
Gateway, and Lakes Community High School. Click

Antioch
Community High School, located at
1133 Main Street in Antioch, was originally built in 1915 and is
the districts original high school. More than 2,200 students
attended the school before the opening of Lakes reduced enrollment
to more manageable numbers.

Lakes
Community High School, located at
the intersection of Grass Lake and Deep Lake Roads in Lake Villa,
opened in the fall of 2004 with approximately 650 freshmen and sophomores.
An additional grade was added each year to create a four-year high
school by the fall of 2006.

Allendale Association,
located at 600 W. Grand Avenue in Lake Villa, is a private, not-for-profit
organization dedicated to excellence and innovation in the care,
education, treatment and advocacy for troubled youth and their families.
It provides a therapeutic learning environment which optimizes student
potential, teaches social responsibility and fosters individual

The Gateway Educational Program, located on the grounds of the Gateway Youth Care Foundation in Lake
Villa, is a full-time school program that operates 220 days per
year. It serves adolescents ages 1418 that have been referred
by outside agencies for residential treatment. Click here for more
